BIO

I am a Junior who attends University Prep in the South Bronx, who has a deep interest in baking and technology. I actively participate in baking with friends along with extracurriculars like crafting. I also aim to indulge myself in outdoor activities like badminton and tennis with my peers. I helped create an extracurricular club that was for arts & crafts. Proficient in Spanish, I have honed my foreign language skills through my immigrant family and during my life living and visiting Dominican Republic. I am enrolled in multiple AP classes, including AP English Language & Composition and AP Spanish. I challenge myself academically to prepare for future studies in political science and perhaps marine biology. I was recently recognized and accepted into the National Honors Society for my outstanding performance in academics. I am committed to lifelong learning and strive to make a positive impact wherever I go.

  • USA America On Tech, Inc. (2024-Present) Working in an intensive program focused on foundational skills in HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. Collaborating with peers to build modern websites.
VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
  • PGC Leader | University Prep (2021-2022) Help incomming 5th graders feel more welcome into school. Tutoring 5th graders in social and academic skills.
  • Discovery Guide | Bronx Zoo (2024-2024) Breifly volunteered and created lesson plans for interested visitors. Interacted and engaged with children ranging from ages 5-12 about wildlife conservation topics.
HOBBIES
  • Video Production: Actively edit and create video presentations, demonstrations, and even parody music videos.
  • Playing Piano: Learning and presenting music through the keyboard/piano.
